Arboricultural Consultant Opportunity - (Brisbane)
About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Arboricultural Consultant to provide expert arboricultural advice to our commercial clients and local councils. If you hold a Diploma in Arboriculture (AQF level 5) and have experience in report writing around tree assessments, risk assessments, tree surveys, development site assessments, and plant health care management, we invite you to apply.
The role will require the successful applicant to take a lead role and manage their assigned projects and clients from commencement to completion. A positive approach to work and problem solving is critical to the position. Being able to work remotely and participate in online meetings comfortably is essential, as is working in a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive tree assessments and inspections
- Offer arboricultural advice on construction projects
- Client communication and management
- Work in both lead role and support role on projects as required
- Produce detailed and high-quality reports
- Implement plant healthcare management strategies
- Collaborate effectively both independently and within a team.
Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of consulting experience
- Diploma of Arboriculture (AQF level 5) or equivalent
- Risk assessment qualifications (TRAQ, QTRA, VALID)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Be able to adapt and think outside the box
- Sound computer skills are required, including
- MS Office – Word and Xcel Essential
- Adobe DC – Essential
- GIS & CAD experience desirable
- CRM software experience is desirable
- Current driver’s license
